A recent store fit-out for Santini Shoes is setting a trend
for the well-heeled specifier. The interior of the shop is a slick mix of
new-age materials including Style bamboo flooring.
The Style® T&G solid flooring was specified in Flint – a semi-gloss dark liquorice stain – similar to ebony or wenge. But the
colour is where the similarities end when compared to traditional timber
floors. Made from mature moso bamboo, the floor’s hardness is a whopping 15.3
kN on the Janka Hardness scale (at least one and a half times that of most
