Appointment of New Chief Executive OfficerTuesday, 3 June 2008
The Board of Style is pleased to advise that it has appointed Peter Torreele as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Peter has over 20 years of international business experience with leading global companies in the Consumer and Service Industries. He has particular expertise in the areas of strategy, marketing, business development and government relations. Peter is a former Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (Davos) where he was responsible for the Centre for Regional Activities in Geneva and the Centre for Global Growth Companies in Beijing. Before joining the Forum in 2003, Peter had an international career as a Senior Executive in two Fortune 500 companies, Roche Group and Danone Group. He was appointed Commercial Director in the Danone beverage division at age 36, and turned around its North European division. As the youngest member of the Roche Consumer Health leadership team, he expanded the business in 55 countries within 3 years before a highly profitable divestiture. Following a review of the Company’s operations and market positioning on behalf of the Board, Mr. Torreele commented, “while operations will be refined the review indicates the need to strengthen them significantly. The company will continue to focus on its underlying strategic opportunities to provide leading edge, environmentally sustainable, high performance flooring and related products based on its proprietary strand-woven technology.” The Company is fortunate to have an experienced executive of

Commenting on the appointment the Chairman and Founder of Style, Greg Johnson, noted that, “The breadth of Peter’s experience in a variety of international settings both in turnarounds and with emerging businesses with multinational operations makes him a valuable asset to Style.
